During our training programme you will learn how to evaluate academic presentations in the classroom as well as in confined water and open water environments, looking in depth at the scoring criteria and counselling techniques used to teach on an IDC.
On our Staff Instructor course you will focus on evaluating and counselling, taking in all the things you may have missed while on your IDC if you were concentrating so hard on passing your IE (Instructor Exams). Our training Staff Instructor programme runs in conjunction with our IDCs and are a really great way to refresh your teaching practices.
We will give you an overview of the standards used when teaching Assistant Instructors and IDC candidates and give you an insight on ways to market and schedule the PADI Assistant Instructor programme. You will also be given the option to audit and a full IDC course which will give you more valuable experience in evaluating and counselling.
Your IDC Staff Instructor course also includes the PADI Course Director Manual and application code, plus evaluation slates for confined and open water presentations. These slates are valuable tools and are essential when it comes to teaching Assistant Instructors in the future.
We also provide you with a comprehensive range of digital materials to help you pursue a successful career as a PADI Staff Instructor and help you with planning and scheduling an Assistant Instructor training programme.

Not only will you be working towards the highest levels of education within PADI but you will also learn valuable skills in dive centre marketing and management which will give you the tools you need to ensure a successful career in the diving industry.
